So, as promised, here are some photos of our new home in Sydney!

This is the outside of our building! (You know you're living the good life when you're building has a name... lol. I just think it's ridiculous.) Can you guess which unit is ours?
Yes! It's the one behind the glass block wall! When we showed up we actually thought it was part of the garage until we started looking through the blocks and saw a couch inside! Amazing! And then it was ours! So, when you want in the side door (just behind me in the photo) you walk into this hallway. The window on the left is to the bedroom and the sliding glass door leads you inside to the living room.
...Which isn't huge, but it's a comfy place. Jeremy put that bookcase together himself! :) It was so cute to watch him do it. And all those books (which I should add are stacked two deep) are his minus two cubby-holes which are mine.
Directly to my right in the previous photo is the bedroom door, which leads you into a room like this! That far wall on the right is the one that grows mold. Can I just say that I LOVE our bed? It is incredible. Ikea might make some crappy furniture but wow, they make awesome mattresses!
Next to the bedroom door is the bathroom door! We are pretty lucky that our bathroom has both a shower and a bath tub plus a sink with cupboards--not many bathrooms are so well equipped in our price range... It's still a little short of storage but oh well. The fan doesn't work so well and that's pretty much the only ventilation this place gets so things can get a bit foggy at times.
And then there is the kitchen! (Behind me is the bedroom and bathroom doors.) Seriously, compared to other apartments in our price range, this kitchen is fit for sultans! Granite counters, a cool drawer-style dishwasher (which coincidentally I found a cockroach in this morning--screaming ensued), a gas stove, and internal laundry! (The laundry is in a cupboard just to the left of the fridge.) And that fridge! lol. Jeremy calls it "The Gelati Fridge" because when it arrived it smelled like ice cream. :P
So, the kitchen and the living room connect which is nice. The only thing that would be nicer would be if that counter had a bar on the other side...
And around the corner from the kitchen, next to the computer, is the back door which leads to the garage. We don't use it since we have no car but have definitely found the space useful! As you can see, in the throws of unpacking, this is where all the random items have gone. :)
