The Petronas Towers were once upon a time the tallest buildings in the world after September 11th but were quickly shrunken in stature when the Taipei 101 Tower climbed even higher. However, the Petronas Twin Towers do still remain the world's largest of their kind. Each day, 1,400 free tickets are given out to visit the sky bridge on the 41st floor but they often are all gone before 9 am (they only open at 8:00) so you have to get there early if you want to go up. It was a rough morning--especially after two nights without sleep in Melaka! Grrr.

I love the effect the fisheye lens gave these photos. They look kinda space-age-y.
After finishing my tour at 9:30, I headed back, paid my bill for the day, caught a few more hours of sleep, and then returned in the afternoon to watch a movie and wait for sun-down. It was a nice relaxing afternoon/evening. :)
