All of Korea is Weeping

All across Korea, schools are closing due to a massive pink eye outbreak. With over 20,000 cases of eye conguntivitus which causes weepy and itchy eyes, eight schools have closed; four of the eight schools are in North Gyeongsangbuk-do (the region I'm in). Over 3,864 cases have been reported in the area surrounding Mung Yeoung alone.

Authorities have advised schools to isolate students with the highly contagious virus in an effort to prevent wider spreading of the disease. All students and teachers have been instructed to wash their hands continually and not touch their eyes until the outbreak is controlled.
